1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work - Level 2

This one day course will give the candidates the skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to safely deal with immediately life threatening injuries in the workplace and certain life threatening conditions. Should you work in a high risk working environment we would strongly recommend the AoFAQ Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work qualification.

The EFAW qualification is a recognised Association of First Aiders Qualification (AoFAQ) and is valid for a three year period. Upon the expiry the same course must be taken again to maintain Qualification.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone who, in their line of work, is responsible for, or may be required to carry out basic first aid within the workplace.


This one day course covers aspects of First Aid relevant to an emergency situation, allowing students to gain knowledge to competently manage Emergency First Aid should a situation arise.

Assessment Method

  • Ongoing assessment by the instructor of the candidates practical skills
  • Successful completion of a twenty question multiple choice paper (pass mark - 15)
